Revision or Secondary Rhinoplasty

Revision Rhinoplasty is the corrective nose shape surgery that alters the shape and/or function of the nose after a previous rhinoplasty. Revision rhinoplasty is also called Secondary Rhinoplasty. Revision Rhinoplasty is done when aesthetic and reconstructive nasal re-shaping done in previous operation is not properly done resulting in cosmetic or functional deformity. Sometimes Revision may be required beyond a secondary operation, such as a third or fourth operation.

We at MicroCare ENT Hospital and Research Institute analyse each individual requirements in aesthetic reshaping of nose, discuss with you the probable outcome after the operation and take maximum precautions to prevent Revision Rhinoplasty. The results of rhinoplasty that can be expected depend upon the surgeon and the patient desires. Certain results and expectations are possible and some others are not possible. Therefore, both surgeon and the patient has to decide prior to surgery the possible outcome making sure that patient will achieve what they desire with minimal chances of revision surgery.
